Collector Series is ending soon. This is the first year of Collector Series, and it is a promo that should return every single year. The concept is excellent.

Looking at last year's calendar, the Monday content ended on May 26th. The prediction for this year is that Collector Series will end on May 25th – the exact same week as last year. The final drop of Collector Series will likely be that Monday. After that, those Collector Series tokens will finally be usable in the ultimate set tied to Season Eight.

What happens after Monday content ends? That is the biggest question. Will EA replace it with something cool, or will Mondays simply have no new content? Based on past years, probably not. Monday content tends to end first, followed by other weekly drops over the next month or so.

Wednesday Content: Flashbacks

Flashbacks is a very good promo. The reason you will never hear serious complaints about Flashbacks is how much better it is than last year's Wednesday content, which was Roster Revolution. Roster Revolution was terrible for a majority of the year and did not become good until June.

Looking at last year's schedule, Roster Revolution did not end until July 2nd. Therefore, Flashbacks should continue running all the way through June and into July. The final release of Flashbacks will likely be around July 1st.

Friday Content: Ultimate Legends

Ultimate Legends typically runs into June or even the middle to end of June. It makes the most sense for Ultimate Legends to end in June or early July, just like Flashbacks.

Collector Series (Monday content) will end around May 25th. After that, no new Monday content is expected.

Flashbacks (Wednesday content) will continue through June and wrap up around July 1st.

Theme Team Surge launched part two on May 21st. Part three drops on May 28th. After that, Theme Team Surge will be complete.

Positional Heroes (June)

Once we enter June, Positional Heroes will begin. Last year in Madden 25, we did not have Positional Heroes at all. However, Positional Heroes has existed in past Maddens.

In years past, Positional Heroes was simply a very good 99 overall player at every single position. That would make the most sense if it returns this year. However, the last time we actually had Positional Heroes was around Madden 19 or Madden 20. Do not go too crazy with predictions, but basing it off the name alone, expect really good players at specific positions.

What to compare it to: Last year, we received a promo called Rising Stars from June 5th to June 12th – the first two weeks of June. Rising Stars featured up-and-coming players in years one through three of their careers. The cards were not as good as Theme Team Surge. Expect Positional Heroes to function similarly – a builder-style promo that is solid but not as elite as what came before it.

The best part about Rising Stars last year was actually a glitch: opening the 98 to 99 overall set guaranteed you a Limited card. Do not count on that happening again.

Fan Appreciation (Late June through Early July)

Fan Appreciation is exactly what it sounds like – EA's way of appreciating their fans. Last year, Fan Appreciation ran from June 19th through July 3rd.

During Fan Appreciation, EA recaps favorite players that dropped throughout the year and introduces some fun concepts on top of that. Last year we saw:

Saquon Barkley Cornucopia set pack

Training variety packs brought back (though they were not good – they were terrible)

Big-name player items including Odell Beckham Jr., Aaron Donald, Parham, Keanu Neal, Devin McCourty, Johnny Manziel, Ted Hendricks, Saquon Barkley, Michael Crabtree, and Warrick Dunn

Fan Appreciation tends to be a genuinely enjoyable promo. It is where EA tries to bring back things the community liked. If training variety packs were to return this year, it would happen during Fan Appreciation. However, temper your expectations – last year's training variety packs during Fan Appreciation were not very good.

Rookie Premiere: The Only Content That Transfers

Rookie Premiere is the most important promo for players who plan to move to Madden 27. It is the only thing that transfers from this year's game into next year's game.

When Do Rookie Premiers Drop?

Rookie Premiere features up-and-coming rookies. You receive the player items in this year's game, and you also get those player items in next year's game.

What to Expect

At the beginning of Madden 26, we actually got Rookie Premiere cards very early through pre-order bonuses. That is not usually the case. Expect EA to get it right this year with a normal July release timeline.
